If you entered the wrong PayPal address when cashing out on Freecash, don't worry—there’s a process to recover your funds. However, once a PayPal withdrawal has been initiated, it cannot be canceled immediately due to limitations set by our payment provider, Tango.
First, the money will be sent to the incorrect PayPal address that you entered during the withdrawal process.
If the payment remains unclaimed for 30 days, it will automatically be returned to us. We can then refund the balance to your Freecash account.
What if I own the email address, but it is not associated with my PayPal account?
If you have sent the money to an email address you control, which is not associated with your PayPal account, you can simply add this email address to your PayPal account. This will allow you to receive the funds without having to wait 30 days for a refund.
Simply follow these steps to add another email to your PayPal account:
Log in to PayPal
Navigate to Settings
In the Email section, select the "+" icon
Enter your email address and select "Add Email"
PayPal will send a confirmation email
Verify the email address by following the link
You will now be able to access the fund.
What if I entered an email address owned by somebody else, and they claim the funds?
Unfortunately, we cannot help you if the owner of the email address you entered claims the funds. To prevent this issue, please always double-check that you've entered the correct email address associated with your PayPal account.
