I Entered the Wrong Dogecoin Address, Can I Get a Refund?

A Dogecoin withdrawal is non-refundable, unless you have entered an invalid address, in which case the withdrawal will be automatically cancelled.

Updated over a week ago

Once a Dogecoin transaction is processed, it cannot be reversed or refunded. Always double-check your details before confirming your withdrawal.

However, if you enter an invalid Dogecoin address, the transaction will not be processed. Instead, it will be automatically cancelled, and the funds returned to your account.

Withdrawing Dogecoin Directly from Freecash

  • If you enter an invalid or incorrectly formatted address, the transaction will fail automatically, and the funds will return to your Freecash balance.

  • If you enter a valid address that you do not control, the transaction cannot be undone, and the funds are non-refundable.

Withdrawing Dogecoin via Stake

The same general rule applies to those withdrawing Dogecoin to a Stake account.

  • If you enter an invalid Stake username, the transaction will fail automatically, and the funds will return to your Freecash balance.

  • If you enter a valid Stake username belonging to someone else, the transaction cannot be reversed, and funds are non-refundable.
